Two documentaries about inclusive hiring for people with intellectual disabilities by filmmaker Brandy Yanchyk have aired on CBC television in August. The first, Employment Matters is a documentary that explores the untapped market and huge potential of the intellectually disabled in the workplace. The second in the series, Employment Matters Too is a documentary that discovers how large corporations benefit from hiring employees with intellectual disabilities. The documentaries aired initially in BC and Alberta but will also be airing across Canada on CBC’s Documentary Channel in 2015.
